




MISSISSAUGA - The Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee’s (MCAC) 3rd Annual Tour de Mississauga will take place Sunday, September 19, 2010 and highlight off-road trails and on-road cycling routes in the northwest part of the City.
Beginning and ending in Streetsville, this year’s ride features three different routes and is open to cyclists of all ages and experience. Registration is free.

WHERE: Vic Johnston Arena (starting point)
335 Church Street, Mississauga
Routes: MBS Tandems Family Ride - at 25 kilometres (15 miles) is ideal for those new to cycling or families riding with children.
Cyclepath Signature Ride - at 60 kilometres (37 miles) this route covers on and off-road trails throughout Streetsville, Old Meadowvale Village, the Credit River, Lisgar, Lake Wabukayne, Lake Aquitaine and the City Centre.
Gears Challenge Ride - at 100 kilometres (62 miles) is a road only ride for avid cyclists who are up for a challenge.
This year’s ride concludes with a complimentary barbecue for all participants at Streetsville Memorial Park.
