TVs Stolen at Truck Stop

MISSISSAUGA – The Peel Regional Police are investigating a robbery which occurred at the Husky Truck Stop on Shawson Drive yesterday evening.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., on Wednesday, August 25, 2010, the victim parked his vehicle, a 2001 red Volvo tractor-style truck, in the parking lot of Husky Truck Stop. A trailer was attached to the tractor containing a quantity of Samsung LCD flat screen televisions, in various sizes. The licence plate of the tractor is 946 0PC and it has the inscription “All Around Express” on the side. The licence plate of the trailer is H78 03H.

Four suspects approached the victim, produced a handgun, and ordered the victim into their vehicle. One of the suspects entered the victim’s tractor and drove away with the trailer load of televisions.

The victim was released a short time later and was not injured during the incident.

The suspects can be described as;

1) Male, Asian, 25 – 30 years, 5’4” tall, slim build, wearing a t-shirt and armed with a handgun.

2) Male, Asian, 25 – 30 years, 5’4”, slim build.

3) Male, black, 30 years, 6’0”tall. 210 lbs., heavy build, clean shaven, bald, light blue T-shirt and black pants.

4) Male, black, 20-22 years, 5’6 – 5’10”, slim build, clean shaven, bald wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

Investigators would like to remind members of the public that purchasing property, knowing it is stolen, is a criminal offence.
